How's it going?
We are drifting along with almost no wind - very slow going here. Strong current against us, too. Surprisingly few squalls, but I guess that will change as soon as we enter the doldrums. According to the radio, Taipei is now full of evacuees from Japan. Our friends are still in Japan, but packed up and ready to fly out on a moment's notice. What a nightmare!
On a more positive note, we are looking forward to Chagos, especially as all our friends there send glowing reports. I bottled 24 liters of "Coopers Dark Ale" and and 24 liters of "Lion Lager" on this trip already. ;-) You can see big dolphins zooming around in the super-clear water. And zillions of stars at night.
